Equipment

Ingredients

  • cups frozen mango chunks
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • ¾ cup Greek yogurt
  • ¾ cup mango juice
  • 1-2 tablespoon maple syrup optional, depending on how sweet you like your smoothie) ( you can substitute with honey or agave)

Instructions

  • Add yogurt, mango juice, and maple to your blender. Blend for about 20 seconds to mix everything together.
  • Toss in the frozen mango and pineapple chunks. Blend until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  • If the smoothie feels too thick, add a little more mango juice to thin it out. For a creamier texture, blend in extra frozen fruit.
  • Pour the smoothie into glasses and garnish with mango, pineapple, or fresh mint if desired. Serve immediately!

Notes

  • Greek yogurt- you can use regular yogurt however note that greek yogurt gives a creamier texture.  To make it vegan use any plant-based yogurts.
  • Mango juice - you can also use pineapple juice. I recommend using mango juice if possible because it reinforces the  mango flavor
  • Maple syrup - you can substitute with honey or agave
