Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 cup coffee cooled or cold brew
  • ¾ cup Greek yogurt or plant-based option like coconut yogurt
  • ¼ cup milk regular or plant based
  • 1 banana sliced and frozen
  • tablespoon cacao powder or unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2-3 tablespoon maple syrup you can also use honey or agave
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Combine all the ingredients in a powerful blender.
  • Blend for 30–45 seconds until the texture is completely smooth. If the smoothie is too thick, add a bit more milk or coffee to reach your desired consistency.
  • Optionally, sprinkle a little cocoa powder on top before serving. Enjoy right away!

Notes

  • Use Frozen Bananas: Using frozen bananas helps achieve a thick and creamy texture without the need for ice. I don’t recommend using ice as it can dilute the flavor.
  • Adjust Consistency: If the smoothie is too thick, gradually add more milk or coffee until you reach your desired consistency.
  • Sweetness Level: Taste the smoothie before adding sweetener, as if your bananas are ripe your smoothie may already be quite sweet.
  • I don’t recommend adding vegetables to this smoothie, as they may alter the color and flavor.
