This Cottage Cheese Chips is the ultimate snack as it is high in protein and very easy to make! They are light, crispy, packed with flavor, and require only 2 ingredients to make them!
1cupwhole milk small curds cottage cheese(4% milkfat), (256 g)
¼cupparmesan cheese
1½tablespoonEverything Bagel Seasoningoptional
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Drop about 1.5 tablespoons of cottage cheese onto the baking sheet, then use a spoon to flatten each portion. About 3/16 to ¼ inch thick. I got about 9 chips from this recipe.
Sprinkle roughly 1 teaspoon of grated Parmesan cheese over the top of each.
Add a layer of Everything Bagel seasoning. This is optional but highly recommended as it gives the chips extra flavor.
Bake for 30 minutes, until the edges become dark brown and crispy.
Remove from the oven and allow the chips to cool completely—they’ll turn crunchy as they cool.
Notes
Use Whole Milk Cottage Cheese – Whole Milk Cottage cheese is higher in protein and contains less moisture. And this helps the chips to become crispier.If your cottage cheese contains moisture, use a fine mesh strainer to get rid of all the extra liquid.Bake Until Deeply Golden – The chips will continue to crisp up as they cool, but make sure the edges are dark golden for the best crunch. Every oven is different, if after 30 min your chips are still not golden on the edges, bake it a bit longer.Let Them Cool Completely – It is important to leave the chips to cool down completely because curing the cooling process the chips become crispier.
