Pomegranate Plunge Tropical Smoothie is a copycat recipe from Tropical Smoothie Coffee. The smoothie is a delicious blend of pomegranate, pineapple, banana, strawberries, and Greek yogurt, which create a sweet and tangy flavor explosion. Thanks to all the wholesome ingredients used this smoothie is packed with nutrients and makes a great breakfast or pick me up snack!
1-2teaspoonmaple syrup(depending on how sweet you like your smoothie), you can also use agave or honey
½cupcranberry juice
Instructions
Put the pomegranate seeds into a high-speed blender and blend for about 30–40 seconds until mostly liquefied. Note – If you prefer a smoother texture, strain the juice through a fine mesh sieve to remove any seed bits.
Next, add the rest of the ingredients to the blender and mix until the consistency is smooth and creamy. Tip – If the frozen fruit is too solid, let it sit for about 10 minutes to soften slightly.
If the smoothie turns out thicker than you'd like, add a little more cranberry juice to adjust the consistency. Taste and add extra sweetener if needed.
Pour into serving glasses and enjoy immediately.
Notes
Use a High-Speed Blender – To make the blending easier and get you that creamy texture.
Adjust Sweetness – Taste the smoothie before serving and add more sweetener if needed.
Let Frozen Fruit Sit for 10 Minutes – If your fruit is too solid, letting it thaw slightly makes blending easier
Storage Instructions:
Fridge - Store the smoothie in an airtight container, and it’ll stay fresh for 1 to 2 days. If it separates, just give it a quick re-blend.
Freezer - Pour the smoothie into a freezer-safe bag or container and seal tightly. It’ll keep for 2 to 3 months. When you're ready to enjoy, let it thaw in the fridge overnight.
