🌟 Recipe Overview
- Creamy Texture. Thanks to the fruits this smoothie has an extra creamy texture.
- Refreshing. The pineapple, mango, and ginger blend gives this smoothie the most refreshing flavor.
- Naturally sweetened. There is no added sweetener here, this smoothie is sweetened just from the fruits.
📔 Ingredients & Substitutes
Banana. You can use fresh or frozen bananas. Using frozen bananas will make your smoothie thicker. I recommend using ripe bananas as that will naturally sweeten the smoothie. If you don’t have a banana you can double the amount of mango.
Mango. Use frozen and ripe mango.
Pineapple. Like with the other two fruits you can use fresh or frozen pineapple. But keep in mind that the frozen fruits will give you a creamier and thicker consistency.
Baby Spinach is rich in iron, vitamin K, magnesium, calcium, and more! Plus it gives that lovely green color. If you don’t have fresh spinach you can use frozen spinach cubes or kale.
Coconut water. We need liquid to bind the ingredients. The coconut water provides a nice tropical taste, but you can also use regular water, orange juice, or plant-based milk.
Fresh Ginger gives the smoothie a zesty and fresh taste plus makes the smoothie even healthier. You can adjust how much ginger you want in your smoothie according to your preference.
